Notable Jockeys: An international line-up - Frankie Dettori (Italian), Johnny Murtagh (Irish), Olivier Peslier, Christophe Lemaire and Davy Bonilla (all French), plus the leading British jockey Ryan Moore
Notable Horses: 2.30pm - Cityscape, winner of a Novice Stakes at Salisbury by 10 lengths, takes on two proven Group 2 winners - Orizaba and Firth of Fith. The result of this race will cause some ripples in the betting markets for next year's Classics.
3.05pm Rainbow View, the most exciting two-year-old of the season, bids for Group 1 glory in the Fillies' Mile. She faces competition from two unbeaten filles, Fantasia winner of a Group 3 last time and Golden Stream, owned by the Queen, and winner of a maiden for Sir Michael Stoute last time. 4.15pm This year's Queen Elizabeth II Stakes brings together the best milers in Europe this season: Henrythenavigator, winner of the 2,000 Guineas at both Newmarket and the Curragh and the St James' Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot, Raven's Pass, runner up in Ireland and Ascot, and finally French raider Tamayuz, winner of two Group 1s in France on his most recent starts.

Notable Jockeys: Top ten jockey Paul Hanagan, Adrian Nicholls rides for his father David.
Notable Horses: 3.50pm Deep Winter has won four of his last five starts. Mark Brisbourne stands a good chance of winning the 5.35pm race as he saddles five of the thirteen runners.

Notable Jockeys: This year's top jockey Ryan Moore and Frankie Dettori make their way here from Ascot, while Jamie Spencer travels all the way from Haydock Park
Notable Horses: 8.50pm Hattan was a Group 3 winner on the all weather last time. 9.20pm Royal Vintage and Lucky Find run for South African trainer Mike De Kock. They take on Godolphin's Happy Boy who was an impressive Group 3 winner in Dubai earlier this year.

Other Information Great Leighs are staging the second-most valuable all-weather fixture of 2008 with prize money of £215,000. The Thoroughbred Open is an eight-race meeting designed to provide 'match-practice' for the Breeders Cup. TVG (the official TV and interactive wagering partner of the National Thoroughbred Racing Association) is broadcasting the racing from Great Leighs to the USA to dovetail with the Breeders' Cup Challenge races at Belmont Park on the east coast and Oak Tree at Santa Anita on the west coast.
