Catterick Bridge

Type: Flat

First Race: 1.25pm

Notable Jockeys: Tom Eaves, 11th in the Jockeys Championship and just one win away from breaking back into the top 10.

William Buick, currently locked in battle with David Probert to be crowned Champion Apprentice.

Notable Horses: Mister Fizzbomb (1.25pm) won this race last year.

Glamorous Spirit (1.55pm) contested the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot.
In the 3.35pm race Luscivious (2 from 2) and Haajes (1 from 1) are unbeaten at the course, whilst Total Impact was a winner at the Glorious Goodwood meeting.

Feature Race: 3.35pm - Totescoop6 Catterick Dash

Cheltenham

Type: Jumps

First Race: 2.20pm

Notable Jockeys: Perennial champion jockey Tony McCoy.

Other top ten jockeys include Richard Johnson (2nd), Paddy Brennan (3rd), Noel Fehily (5th), Tom O'Brien (7th) and Sam Thomas (8th).

Ruby Walsh, main jockey for Champion Trainer Paul Nicholls.

Notable Horses: Fair Along (2.20pm) has completed the remarkable feat of being placed in three different Grade 1 events in the last three Cheltenham Festivals - the Triumph Hurdle, Arkle and Champion Chase.

Celestial Gold (3.25pm) is a former winner of the Paddy Power Gold Cup.
Ballyfitz (5.10pm) was victorious at the Cheltenham Festival earlier this year, winning the Pertemps Final Hurdle.

Feature Race: 3.25pm - Dick Francis "Silks" Handicap Chase

Admission: Club/Tattersalls: £25. Best Mate: £10. Under 16s: Free entry to all enclosures (must be accompanied by an adult).

Other Information: The Showcase Exhibition brings together information about breeding, owning, training, riding and caring for horses in their retirement, plus demonstrations covering aspects as diverse as how a horse is saddled and how a fence is built.

Prior to racing, racegoers can visit the parade ring and the weighing room and even win the chance to judge the Best Turned Out horse in a race, watch a race as an owner or make a trophy presentation.

This year, The Showcase also coincides with the famous Cheltenham Literature Festival, which runs from October 10 to 19. Famous names such as Julie Walters, Roger Moore, Sheila Hancock, Ray Mears, John Barrowman and Richard Attenborough are appearing at events in The Centaur.


Kelso

Type: Jumps

First Race: 2.10pm

Notable Jockeys: Brian Hughes, in the top 10 of the Jockeys Championship.
Grand National winning jockey Graham Lee.

Denis O'Regan, a dual winner at the Cheltenham Festival in March.

Notable Horses: Kalahari King (3.15pm) was 4th in the Grade 1 Supreme Novices Hurdle at Cheltenham.

Doeslessthanme (2.40pm) makes his hurdling debut having been unbeaten in two National Hunt flat races.

Feature Race: 3.15pm - L.S. Starrett Beginners Chase

Admission: Members: £20, Tattersalls: £12. Children: Free.

Other Information: Kelso is for the first time having a musical theme with a local version of the much acclaimed 'Britain's Got Talent' renamed as 'Border's Got Talent' which will be staged after the last race. There will be seven acts taking part, plus well-known local artist Craig Jeffery.


Newmarket - The Natwest Rowley Mile Course

Type: Flat

First Race: Time 2.05pm

Notable Jockeys: Jockeys Championship leader Ryan Moore.

Other top 10 jockeys include Jamie Spencer, Richard Hughes, Paul Hanagan and Dane O'Neill.

The ever-popular Frankie Dettori.

Notable Horses: New Approach (3.10pm) attempts to win a third Group 1 prize this season having won the Derby and Irish Champion Stakes. He takes on French raider Russian Cross, bidding to give trainer Andre Fabre his third success in the race, and last year's Cambridgeshire winner Pipedreamer.

In the Cesarewitch at 3.50pm favourite Askar Tau is looking for a sixth consecutive win, and is taken on by last year's winner Leg Spinner who has only run over hurdles since that success.
Trainer Jim Bolger has won the last two renewals of the Dewhurst (2.35pm) including last year with New Approach who seeks Champion Stakes glory today. Bolger runs Intense Focus this time, who is taken on by Soul City, winner of nearly three-quarters of a million pounds when successful in the Goffs Million at the Curragh last month.

Feature Race: £427,500 Group One Emirates Airline Champion Stakes (3.10pm)

Admission: Premier Enclosure: £40, Grandstand & Paddock: £25, Rowley Enclosure: £10, Under 16s: Free entry to all enclosures (must be accompanied by an adult).

Other Information: Newmarket's end of season showpiece, Champions' Day.


Wolverhampton

Type: Flat on the all-weather surface.

First Race: 6.20pm

Notable Jockeys: Top 10 jockey Paul Hanagan.

Reigning all-weather champion Chris Catlin.

Willie Carson's grandson William Carson.

David Probert, fighting it out with William Buick to be Champion Apprentice.

Notable Horses: Cumbrian Knight (7.50pm) has won over hurdles, in chases and on the Flat, including three times here at Wolverhampton.

Harry Up (7.20pm) is a four-time course winner, whilst Time To Regret (6.20pm) has three victories here.

Feature Race: 8.50pm - Cleanconcierge Handicap

Admission: Premier: £20.00, Grandstand: £12.00.

Other Information: Popular UB40 tribute band Johnny2bad will be playing.

The evening includes a disco until midnight, and race goers will either need to purchase a dining package or Premier+ entertainment badge to enjoy the after-race entertainment. The band will take to the stage in The Ringside at around 10.15 p.m.
