Notable Horses 2.20pm Gone To Luch was a classy hurdler and finished second in a Grade 1 at Aintree last season. He is taken on by The Cool Guy who found only Denman too good in the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle back in 2006. Both look to break their ducks over fences.

Notable Horses Take Me There in the 12.40pm race represents Newmarket trainer John Berry. He'd have more Flat runners, but does well with the small number of jumpers in his care. His last two jumps runners have won, 1.40pm Nine De Sivola has yet to win over fences but he did finish second in the Irish and Scottish Grand Nationals in 2007.

Notable Horses Champion trainer Paul Nicholls has won 6 of the last 10 runnings of the novices hurdle at 1.30pm, including with Valley Henry, Shotgun Willy and Gold Cup winner Denman. He saddles British debutant Definity, winner of his sole start in an Irish point-to-point and owned by Graham Roach who also owned Shotgun Willy.
Pauntley Gofa (3.30pm) won this race last year for the same trainer/jockey combination of Mark Gillard and Andrew Thornton.

Notable Horses Four previous course winners try to repeat the trick tonight - in the 6.50pm race Ivory Silk and Billy Red have visited the winners enclosure here already, whilst in the 9.20pm contest both Folio and Yankee Storm have tasted success here before.
Irish Pearl (7.20pm) is on an all-weather hat-trick, though he has never raced here before and both wins came at Southwell.
