Notable Horses: Cheeky Lad (1.50pm) won this race last year. He takes on former Scottish Champion Hurdle winner Genghis. With this meeting transferred from Worcester due to flooding, Paddleyourowncanoe (3.35pm) would be an appropriate winner today!

Ascot
Type: Flat
First Race Time: 2.10pm
Notable Jockeys: Jockeys Championship leader Ryan Moore, plus his nearest pursuer Richard Hughes who got the 100 up for the season at Goodwood on Wednesday.
Notable Horses: Richard Hannon's Penny's Gift (3.20pm) is the clear form pick for this valuable sales race having finished runner-up in a Group 3 at Royal Ascot and in a Group 2 at Newmarket last time out. There's a sneaking suspicion that Accede has been aimed at this race for some time - trainer Jonny Portman has a good record in these sales races and this Newbury maiden winner should give a good account of herself. Sir Michael Stoute has won the 3.55pm contest twice in the last seven years, and his Crystal Capella is on a four-timer in the race. Island Vista will be a danger for the in-form Michael Jarvis yard.
Feature Race: 3.20pm Watership Down Stud Sales race with over £135,000 to the winner
3.55pm Princess Royal EBF PricewaterhouseCoopers Stakes (Listed race)
18:00 David Stewart & Nick Shiambouros host the evening session

Tevez (8.50pm) is a half-brother to Benayoun, both horses named after former West Ham players who now ply their trade elsewhere. Blue Hills (6.50pm) has won 5 times on Wolverhampton's all-weather surface, and takes on Synonymy, a 3-time winner here.
