He takes on Ordnance Row, already a Group 3 winner this year, Il Warrd, 2nd in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot, and last year's winner of this race, Hotel Du Cap.
The Haynes, Hanson & Clerk Conditions Stakes usually throws up a good horse for next season. Last year's winner was Centennial, trained by John Gosden which has gone on to win the Great Voltigeur Stakes (Group 2) this year. The interesting runner though is Taameer, trained by Marcus Tregoning. It is making its debut but the trainer has won 3 of the last 10 renewals of this race.

The in-form Henry Cecil has two interesting runners. Midday (2.30pm) will be favourite to win a race Henry won two years ago with Light Shift, which went on to Oaks Glory. In the 4.50pm he saddles Cornish Castle in a race he won last year with Tomintoul Flyer.
Trainer John Gosden has won 4 of the last 8 runnings, three of them with Jimmy Fortune on board, of the 2.30pm race and is double handed with Aromatic and Take The Hint. When trying to find the winner perhaps take the hint that Jimmy is riding Aromatic!
