6.00pm The evening team of Alan Dudman and Terry Norman take over for the rest of the action from Kempton Park.
Cheltenham
Type: Jump
First Race: 2.20pm
Notable Jockeys: Tony McCoy - perennial champion rider, also 1 of only 4 riders to win over 100 races last season the other 3 also in action include, Richard Johnson, Robert 'Choc'Thornton & Paddy Brennan.
Sam Thomas - 2008 Gold Cup winning rider with the mighty Denman.
Timmy Murphy - 2008 Grand National winner with David Pipe's Comply or Die.
Champion Irish rider - Ruby Walsh.
Notable Horses: Not many horses that are placed at Royal Ascot go on to run at Cheltenham but Amerigo does just that at 4.40pm - he finished second to Patkai in the Group 3 Queen's Vase at Ascot.
Former Royal & SunAlliance Hurdle winner Fundamentalist runs at 4.05pm. He takes on Joe Lively, winner of the Grade 1 Feltham Novices Chase last season.
Razor Royale (2.55pm) was 7th in the Grade 1 Ballymore Properties Novices Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March. He takes on Ring The Boss who went on a 5-race winning spree last season.
Feature Race: The £25,000 Jewson Novices' Handicap Hurdle Final takes place at 3.30pm

Other Information: The Showcase Exhibition brings together information about breeding, owning, training, riding and caring for horses in their retirement, plus demonstrations covering aspects as diverse as how a horse is saddled and how a fence is built. Prior to racing, racegoers can visit the parade ring and the weighing room and even win the chance to judge the Best Turned Out horse in a race, watch a race as an owner or make a trophy presentation.
This year, the Showcase also coincides with the famous Cheltenham Literature Festival, which runs from October 10 to 19. Famous names such as Julie Walters, Roger Moore, Sheila Hancock, Ray Mears, John Barrowman and Richard Attenborough are appearing at events in The Centaur.

Notable Horses: Smokey Oakey, winner of the Lincoln Handicap, runs in the 3.10pm for Oscar winning actress Dame Judi Dench. He takes on Bankable, runner up on his last four starts including three times in Group company, and triple Listed winner Tranquil Tiger.
Frankie Dettori has won the 3.45pm race on this card three times in the last four years - he rides Classic Remark this time.
Trainer John Gosden has won divisions of the 1 mile maiden on this card six times since 2001, four of those being debutants. He saddles two newcomers in it this time - Jesse James in division one at 1.30pm and Dreamcoat in division two at 2.00pm.

Redcar

Notable Jockeys: The opening race at 2.10pm, The Sawfish Software Ladies' Handicap Stakes is the 2nd of 3 races in a series for lady amateur riders sponsored by Sawfish Software of York. After winning the opening leg last month at Beverley, Alyson Deniel leads the way in the competition which ends at Nottingham later this month.
Neil Callan - top 10 jockey.
Notable Horses Let It Be (4.30pm) likes it around this track as she has won 4 times here. She takes on hat-trick seeking Rutba.
Strawberry Moon is remarkably consistent, being placed on 7 of her 8 starts. Her other run was a win, here at Redcar.
Feature Race: European Breeders' Fund Maiden Fillies' Stakes (Div I) 1.40pm & European Breeders' Fund Maiden Fillies' Stakes (Div II) 3.20pm.
The 3rd running of The Sam Hall Memorial Handicap Stakes commemorates the great Yorkshire trainer, who passed away in 1977. He trained over 1,000 winners during an illustrious career which began in 1949, achieving a lot of success at Redcar, including winning the Zetland Gold Cup on four occasions.

Other Information: Redcar's 2008 season on the Flat comes to a resounding conclusion on Friday. The giant screen situated opposite the stands will enable racegoers to see even more of the action on the track.
Going into this final meeting of Redcar's campaign, the course's top trainer and jockey awards for the season are led by Richard Fahey and Tom Eaves respectively. However, both competitions look like going down to the 'wire', in particular the jockeys' prize.
Kempton Park
Type: All Weather Flat
First Race: 5.45pm
Notable Jockeys: The increasingly popular young apprentice of the moment, David Probert who is fighting it out with his friend and rival William Buick to claim the Champion Apprentice Crown.
Champion All Weather rider, Chris Catlin is in action. Paul Hanagan lies 6th in the championship title race
Notable Horses: Don Julio A in the 7.50pm represents South African trainer Mike De Kock. He tries his hand at the British all weather surface having finished 5th in the Argentine 2,000 Guineas last year. He takes on Cape Hawk, 4th in the totesport Mile Heritage Handicap at Glorious Goodwood.
There will be no brotherly love at 6.50pm as trainer Ed Dunlop saddles Border Maid and his younger sibling Harry runs Aroundthebay.
