Paris!
Soooooooo, I'm in Paris now. Got here two days ago. Was awesome driving in the taxi on the way to the hotel. Driving down the champs elysée all covered with blinking blue neon lights on both sides of the road and lot and lots of decorations. Real christmas spirit...
Was a good start of the trip. The second day here consisted mostly of interviews and press. Got time to do some shopping as well which was cool, but the weather was real shitty so it wasnt too exciting walking from store to store. Today I went on a boat trip with some french tv crew that were filming me for some kind of documentary... wtf, who the hell would wanna watch me anyway? I didnt really see the point but i went along for the ride. At least we got to see a lot of the tourist attractions and the other side of the city. Also played in a 5k euro buy in at the Aviation Club (which is amazing btw... such a great athmosphere) I screwed up in that after taking a beat early on, but whatever... I'm in paris so i couldn't care less.
The European Poker Player awards were tonight as well and I was nominated in three cathegories:
'Rookie of the year'
'Leading female player of the year' and
'Best performace of the year'.
Ending up winning the last one. Kinda surprised because thats the one i least expected to win, but hey! At least I won one :)
Now I have 3 days off to just spend money and check out Paris. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
